Power Air Duct Cleaning

Novak Heating & Air has been cleaning duct systems since 1993. We have a truck mounted vac system to professionally clean ductwork and dryer vents on residential homes. Are vac truck is among the most powerful in the industry. We also have portable duct cleaning equipment that is most effective on commercial cleaning jobs. This high performance equipment and specialty tools physically remove dirt, debris and other contaminants from ductwork systems. Our company is the only licensed HVAC dealer in the area that cleans ductwork. We have installed, fabricated and maintained ductwork and understand what it takes to get it clean!!!

5 BIG REASONS
your entire heating system
should be cleaned regularly

  1. Dirty Gas, Oil or Coal heating systems reduce efficiency. Cleaned regularly you will get more heat, using less fuel.
  2. A dirty furnace or duct system is a dangerous fire hazard. Gas poisoning and fires could be prevented. Don't take that risk.
  3. Why dust every day? Most furnace filters are only 7 to 20% effective. Our Modern Cleaning method will remove dust before it reaches your living quarters.
  4. A thorough cleaning prevents corrosion and rust which cause failure in your heating systems.
  5. Dirty heat plants pour out grimey soot and dirt. This means extra cleaning and decorating expenses. Our New Modern Cleaning Methods can eliminate this unnecessary expense.

HERE'S HOW WE DO IT:
  1. A trained technician connects a 10" vacuum hose (capable of moving 12,000 cubic feet of air per minute) to your duct system. Each outlet is sealed off and a vacuum is created within the air duct system.
  2. The technician determines if the dirt and mold in the duct work is caked on. If so, we insert a power vent cleaner inside the air ducts which loosens the caked on dirt and the mold.
  3. High pressure compressed air (200psi) is injected into each vent, this air blast pushes the dirt and dust down into the main duct run.
  4. After the vents are blown down we take a small tool called the skipper and insert it in the main duct runs. The skipper moves down the duct run each time air pressure is applied. This action sweeps grime, dirt and dust back to the vacuum hose hookup and out into the truck.
  5. We then clean the fan blower compartment, plenum, return air handling side on the furnace and the a/c coil with 200 psi air pressure and vacuum.
