Dear Sirs,

      I have worked on many projects, but none that started out with as many problems as this one did. Between the site plan problems, City permit problems and weather, we weren't sure this job would ever get started. However once we did we discovered we had teamed up with a great group of subcontractors that made this job a success. Your field men and staff should be commended for their hard work and cooperation which contributed in the quality of work which is exhibited here and the timely fashion in which it was done.

      Without you this job would not have been completed on time after having starting almost a month late.

      We at Pace and my job Superintendent (Steve LaGrand) would like to Thank You. We plan on doing more projects in Cedar Rapids and hope we can team up with you again on these projects.

Central Park Presbyterian Church

Dear Mr. Novak:

      On behalf of the Session and congregation of Central Park Presbyterian Church I am writing to express our appreciation and satisfaction for the excellent job done by Bill Jess and your company in installing the air conditioning for our sanctuary.

      We wanted a system that would work well, yet for a reasonable cost. There were some who thought that we could only cool the sanctuary with a lot of duct work, but many of us thought it would work to use the existing opening in the front wall used for the exhaust fan. Your company's bid was very reasonable, and from all indications so far, the system works extremely well.

      We were concerned about aesthetics. We did not want to cut new holes in the front of the sanctuary. I talked with Bill about trying to preserve the look that we had without disturbing the pattern of the trim. The end result exceeds our expectations. I have heard people in the congregation say that it looks better now than it did before.

      Another concern was noise. I have been in some churches whose air conditioning systems are very noisy and distracting. I don't know how he managed to do it, but Bill found a way to cool our sanctuary with forced air that had to be able to reach the back of the sanctuary, yet there is hardly any sound at all.

      Finally, I have to say a personal word of appreciation for the way Bill made all of this happen in time for my daughter's wedding. The work was done on Friday around 2:00 p.m. The wedding rehearsal was at 5:00 and it was up and running.

Dear Randy:

      I'm writing to tell you that the heating/air conditioning systems you installed here and at my home are working great.

      Our office and production areas now maintain even temperatures. The utility bills have been substantially lower and my employees here stopped complaining of being too hot or too cold. The new units and ductwork are also much quieter.

      At our house we now can get our basement warm. As you know this was a problem before.

      Please let your installers know I appreciate their hard work, quality installation and professional attitude. Our business didn't "miss a beat" while your men worked to install the system.

Dear Mr. Novak:

      I am writing to say thank you for the excellent customer service your organization has provided my family over the past month. We have been thoroughly impressed with the high level of courtesy, promptness, insight and flexibility from the time I called for a quotation to the end of the installation process.

      I received a strong reference from my friend Joe Winters when I was in need of quotations for a new furnace. Jim Owens promptly returned my call, met with me as promised, and was very helpful in explaining my options. He gave me an immediate, fair quotation, and scheduled me for installation when I wanted it. He also worked out a deal for duct cleaning that was scheduled exactly when I asked.

      Your technician who did the duct cleaning showed up right on time. He was very courteous and explained what he was going to do. He went about his business in a clean and efficient manner. We were very please with his work.

      Each time I have called in to your office I have been greeted by a friendly voice that always was cheerful and answered my questions or immediately forwarded my messages to the party I needed to reach.

      Your installation technicians called me at work, as requested, and met me at home to explain exactly what they were about to do. Kelly was also very courteous and I felt comfortable having the two gentlemen install my furnace. Kelly called well ahead of schedule stating that they were ready to wrap up. He invited me to come back to walk through what they had completed.

      Kelly then discovered that he had inadvertently installed the upgrade furnace and not the one I ordered. I did feel for him as this was an honest mistake. He handled the situation very well in telling me that he would speak with you and Jim to consider what options you could offer. He kept a very uncomfortable situation for himself well in order and acted immediately. You can be pleased with the way he turned a potentially difficult situation into a positive experience.

      I did appreciate the quick manner in which Jim and you came to very fair and customer oriented answer to the situation. I sincerely appreciate your personal willingness to work with me on the cost of the upgrade. I want to commend you on your entire staff's performance in excellent customer service all the way to the top! I am a Sales Manager and Public Relations Coordinator for an organization here in town. I train on customer service and customer relations regularly. Your organization just earned an A+ in my book. I will carry this strong feeling over to the people I know in need of the services you offer. Your willingness to show flexibility in what you have done with this customer will come back to you over and over again through the years of me sharing my positive experience.

Dear Randy:

      I just wanted to let you know how pleased we are with our new heating and cooling system. While we haven't had a real opportunity to test the cooling system with our very pleasant weather of late, we did have one short warm spell where the system responded with cool air in areas of the house that used to be warm. I know we'll also appreciate the heating system come this winter. But I think the most satisfying feeling is knowing we have the top of the line system that will take care of us for years.

      Randy, we also were very impressed by your crew which installed the system. They were very efficient and thorough. They were all business, yet very cordial. They represented your company very well.
